New! Edition 3 Now With Over 100 New Maps Electric Books is the publisher of the Antique Maps of Texas™ CDROM. Included are high resolution images of over 200 original Texas & Indian Territory maps from 1780 to 1930. The two new Great Trails maps are included. There are scarce early state maps, cattle trail maps, very early mining and topographic maps, unusual maps of many Texas cities and seldom seen maps of historic Texas places as well as 100’s of online topical links to the Handbook of Texas Online®. There are also a number of very scarce pre-1907 maps of Indian Territory. Each map is scanned from the original at 300+ dpi and then sized to 200+ dpi for this CD. The custom map browser software allows deep zooms of up to 200% into the image and the map may be panned in any direction by using the mouse. All maps may be printed for non-commerical use.
